This will be the seventh edition of the ORP Conferences, successfully being held along different Spanish cities since its first calling in 2000. The last of this took place in May, 2008, at A Corunna, gathering 1.605 people coming from 40 different countries, the presentation of 56 plenary sessions, 36 workshops, 150 scientific communications and 105 technical posters. This year, the Conference will take place at Santiago de Chile.
