Dra. GLORIA CRUCETA, Medicine Doctor, is the president of committee CTN 171 environmental quality in interiors of AENOR and superior technician in occupational risk prevention, specialising in industrial hygiene, expert technician of ENAC (National entity of accreditation) in environmental indoor quality. She is the founder of the Catalan Association of specialists companies in sick building syndrome, and actually is present in its board of directors, president (2001-2007) of Spanish Federation Enterprises of Environmental Indoor Quality, MBA master in management and business from the University of Barcelona. She is also the director of SEGLA, company specializing in indoor environmental quality of buildings.

Dr. JOSE LEIVA. Pharmacy Doctor, specialist in Microbiology and Parasitología, consultant and Director of the Service of clinical Microbiology of the University Clinica de Navarra, contracted Teacher doctor and assistant director of the Department of Microbiology and Parasitología of the Faculty of Medicine of the University Clínica de Navarra. Person in charge of the Section of micobacterias and of Bioseguridad's Laboratory of Level 3.

Thematic content: The University Clinic of Navarra it has a laboratory of Biosecurity, which there allows the managing of biological agents who cause potentially lethal diseases for the human being. It is a question of one of the first clinical laboratories of this type put in march in Spain. Besides the measures of biological safety needed in this type of facilities, the laboratory of the Clinic of the University of Navarra incorporates systems added to guarantee the containment of the pathogenic agents inside the enclosure. The main focus of this conference are secondary barriers (relating to the proper location and design of specialized) and tertiary barriers (structural design of the premises or building) in reference to biohazard labs, mainly relating to containment ( BL3) and maximum containment (BL4).

Dr. JUAN MARTIN CABALLERO, Doctor in veterinary sciences, director of animals Biosafety of the Barcelona Biomedical Reseacrh Parc.

Thematic content: Together with the animals Biosafety of the Barcelona Biomedical Reseacrh Parc, has started the Animalas Biosafety of the Center of Biological Investigations (CIB) of the CSIC, the animalas Biosafety of the National Center of Biotechnology (CNB) of the CSIC and the animalas Biosafety of the National Center of Cancer Investigations (CNIO).

12.45- 13.30 h. Conferencia: CABINS OF BIOLOGICAL SAFETY: I USE, DISINFECTION, MAINTENANCE AND VALIDATION.

Thematic content: In the present Conference will be explained the diverse classes of cabins of biological safety, the form how they are classified, how they are in use, how and with what agents they disinfect, how there treat each other the incidents that as spillages or splashes they present during the normal work of the laboratory, what components integrate and how they are kept.
